i did something funny/bad on thursday and friday

i've been partying heaps, yea i got bounced outta someones house
last night before i even got there. its a f-uped story but it ended
up with harvard and i getting cosy on the poolside chairs downstairs.

the last party of the season , 50 peeps coming over to my house for
lunch tmr 45 of them i wouldnt know who, 5 of them are cousins.
All i know is that i've got plenty of booze in my house, like 10% liquor
and 90% tiger beer, ive been on a losing hand in blackjack , time to
whip it all up and take it back tmro, fuggin 32bucks. Once i break even
i'll have enough money to go for a haircut and treat myself to a good meal.

weird title but only a few will get it.

2007;

new zealand,germany,canada,holland,thailand.
has been really tiring switching from 420-29er
trying to put on weight and lost 5kgs in canada.
Did 27 fuckin' crazy races at 420 worlds in nz
and it was blowing 18-27knots, got introduced to
the 29er and 25-35min races in germany. Pumped
like a dog in holland and i can say that was the
hardest ive gone. The most difficult competition was
sea games, those arseholes were so light and fast.
Most unexpected win was aussie nationals, scariest
race was the last one in Canada, 29er. 27knots.

The competition i sailed with the most distraction
could be sea games, 29erworlds coming close. The best
part of 2007 sailing was winning all the 420 comps
7 of them last year. The most tiring month of physical
trng was sept. The highest my heartrate went was 206
on the bike, the highest average heart rate was 172
in a 22 min cycle. Okay this is getting so boring.

Had a social meltdown in mid november and couldnt
have fucked it up any better. and as i said ive achieved
all my goals that i set out so im not complaining,

anyway the aust trip was really shitty, we had like shit
food everyday and i was suppose to pay for my own

time passes fast when you are having fun.
ive spent more than ever this week, bought
speakers, a topfromtopman, itouch casing,
converse,specs, A christmas present. yesyes
i know im a selfish bastard always never give you guys.

today was great, had breakfast at hawker with
granny mum and cousin then met the bro's for lunch
at n.y.d.c at wheelock, rushed to north to pass the
c.prezzie, rushed back home. had dinner with
cousin's family and ordered my specs, i dont have
perfect eyesight anymore. my degree's like 300 plus
could be because i played lots of dota at sea games.
Spend 7.60 on starbucks, didnt know it was so darn
expensive and caffeine has been keeping me awake.

my flight's on thurs/tmro but ssf only called me today to
tell me that i havta pay 2.5k. Went to link up with the
other guys and we decided that it was too expensive.
thought i could spend christmas in singapore and
finally get my long awaited break then they lowered the
price to 1.2k so yes im going to melbourne. Flying off
tmro night, i dont know what to pack and what to wear.
This is retarded, i blog knowing that words spread
around and could get to them, yea whatever.

Right now its 12.30am, grumps mummy and i we are
sitting down in the living room listening to chinese
karaoke, hopefully by spending time with em' now,
i wont miss them so badly especially during the

Sea games was one hellava fun trip, loved the company.
i'm starting to miss the 2am soccer kicks and 4am dota.
russian grannies and that super cold morning PT in
the pool.Crazy tuk tuk rides and cheap thai massage.
Didnt like the contrast bath and the wind though,
the max wind we got during comp was maybe 11knots?.

competition was tough especially in the light and flunky
conditions with the two breeze fighting each other and
it was never a easy competition, had to work arses off.

usual faces in the 420 fleet, nice blokes unlike the
other classes which i wouldnt name. fcuked up race
management in every sense , huh what fairplay?.

overall it was a really good trip and off i go to
melbourne for aussie nationals and 29er worlds.

crap this is gonna be one long post , last few hours in singapore.

my tapper week has been great , gone outta the house shitloads
been leaving the house as early as 630am and coming back at 11.
averaging 5 hrs of sleep, ive become a zombie with eye bags.

monday - went for medical check up, bought jeans from topman
went home slept abit more, dota, tv.

tuesday- psychology which never really quite happened cos i forgot
that we postponed it, did gym+core. Bummed around the library,
went out with aaron to town had mos then high tea at marriott
with godma mum and the crazyy cuzzies. Rushed down to nsc
to do a last min repair on the equipment but it was good. Took
36 to godma's house then left for ikea, had a dozen meatballs
plus whatever that was there, bought some stuff and got home at 10ish.

wednesday - woke up at 630 went to sch for psychology and physio
then joined the academy for dragon boating at bedok. It was fun
and i used it as my cardio trng, haa im such a slacker. Got to sch
in time for the signing of NSA's, had some photoshoot which left
my jaw aching. Reached home around 10 plus, slacken a little.

thursday - Wanted to do gym in the morning but i was too lazy
met the mates at 830 and left for sentosa and the class had
one heck of a time. Pictures were up in the previous post,
got a cut on my right sole, aint complaining. Went to vivo with
bff to get kang-er-roos chocolates, EH WTF U GUYS STILL OWE
me 2 buck each!. took a train down to tampines, caught The Kingdom
with bff and someone fell asleep halfway through, idiott waste my $.
Bought a card for kang-er-roo and went to print the pics outside
my place. Bought milk tea and i was only allowed to drink 1/4,.

Friday - Went back to school for staff day and soccer boys were
very noisy as usual, was good to see the faces of Roy, Safuwan,
Aqhari, Nasri but PAIMAN wasnt there. I repeat PAIMAN has gone
awol and i dont want to go to staircases to find him, then we took
pics again. Met andrew ,jimmy/louis and aaron, had popeyes at
T1 , lunch was fanfuckingtastic. Took bus 69 home and started
packing my stuff for sea games, slept for an hour and had a
bad dream which still is good. 2 dreams in a week, what more can i ask for.

wanna say thks to my bros, cycling was really fun even though
two of you nearly got knocked down by the HL milk truck.

okay so my preparation for sea games has been great i reckon its better than
asian games last year i believe, been going through a steady program
and i think i'm fit enough to sail 3 races a day back to back in 15-20 knots
and still be able to sail the last race like the first. I did 17 cycling sessions,
8 swimming sessions and 2 running sessions within the past 2.5 months.
working on aerobic and anaerobic fitness, muscular endurance, flexibility.
ok so this is it i guess, this is the final. what ive been trng so hard for.
On wednesday my psychologist asked me what do i do when the pain is

it has been such a longg day. 17 hours outside i must say im enjoying
the weekend. Seriously i think this is my 4th or 5th weekend off
this year and im feelin' it, life's good. Went to sss in the morning
then vivo and back to sss in the afternoon.

Had dinner with my family at amk hub, new york new york
and i finished the whole pork rib + ice blended chocolate velvet,
what a weird name. Then we drove down to siglap for gelare with
my cousins, omgawk i think my calorie intake today is probably
3000 plus. I'm freaking tired now, time check ; 1.27am.

I'm gonna sleep in tmro/later and gonna go out with my mum and cousins for

okay i'm absolutely dead from today's session.
40 plus reaching windward hoist in 6-8 knots
for 90 mins. i got blisters on my right feet now.

camp starts tmro till saturday i dont know what
to expect but i know i will gain more experience
in small fleet racing. I hope everything is not

I managed to survive week 1 , no aching muscles
or pain from the strained tendon right now.
but i know week 2 starts tomorrow and there's
also week 3 and week 4. And i'm all too familiar
with accumulative muscle and mental fatigue,
i'm pacing myself now. I wont let the heart rate
go beyond 195bpm, i want to reach the finishing line
with that passion to be able to sail another series.

It stormed today with gust up to 40 knots and for
a moment i thought Joshua windsurfed his way down
to suntec to buy factory donuts, land drills weren't
as fun as i thought. trng was canceled and i watched
some chinese movie at home while waiting mum was
sleeping. dinner was super filling!, i had
milkshake and cheese cake!, oo nearly typed cheesepie down.

elearn today, i woke up at 855am and school started
at 9am, i logged in late and didnt know what lesson
to attend. The whole class was chatting on msn ,
as much as we dislike studying i'm starting to
feel the drive that is developing within the class.

and the learning curve seems really positive, there's only
one guy who i truly look up to. And his not going sea games,

ive finally experienced a good day, yea it has kinda
like been a drought season since coming back from
junior europeans. Plain boring and surely full of

about it. Sailing today was some fun shit man,
420 with paul,siobhan,paul's cousin. And tacking
duel in opti with gris which never quite happened
cause i was flooding the boat. I'm gonna upload

dammit i cant sleep and its 4.45am now. jet lagging and uncle koh
wants me to go back to school tmro. I'm really glad to have finished
first for this regetta cause we didnt really get enough training on
the water. we had only two full days of trng to get the new boat
up and running well and not to mention that stine and i just came
back to 420 from the 29er so yep, it was a cool feeling except
even in 15 knots of reaching the 420 feels really slow still.

Our qualifying series was sailed in about 6-15 knots of wind
and we scored 13,8,4,1,6,7. The race that we finished first
we had a really huge lead and the wind was around 6-10 knots.
we won that race because of really good speed and stine's tactics
were great. In the final series we did 4,33,2,5,2,5,2,9. The
second race was 3-6 knots in 20-30 degrees shifting conditions
and the rest were sailed in around average 12-15 knots of breeze.

We had some really good starts during the regatta , usually we'll
come in at the first mark around top 6- top 15 and from there its
just playing the catching up game, downwind was really tiring cause
we pumped the whole leg and when its time to down the spin i take
ages. I remember this race when we were gonna round mark 1,

sherm : hey stine i think only top 4 is possible the rest are
too far to catch, just us and the greeks.

stine : okay ons we rip them during the downwind.

sherm, half way on the dw leg : motherfucker lets get the rest,

stine : look back and see the greeks.

and we finished 2nd i think but wtf we had like 50metres on the
greeks when we finished, yes we won JUNIOR euros with that
kind of work rate, pumping 6 downwinds a day only stopping to
wipe the sweat off. oh we had 3 races where there wasnt O flag
' dont tell me you guys dont know what that is ".

okay anw i'll just upload pictures to end off, and probably
catch some sleep. you guys wont be seeing me at nsc for a long time.

Okay I’m like writing this post on a bus, yea I’m on bus 168 now on the way to tampines and I’ll take a cab down to nsc from there.. darn it . its raining again, what is wrong with the weather now?. Heat wave in eastern Europe and floods in the uk. I’ve switched rooms now and I’m currently rooming with faris, aaron , Andrew and jimmy. Life in school isn’t so bad afterall. And it was really nice of faris to have helped me move my stuff over, appreciate it a lot. It’ll be open house tmro and I’m dreading it cos I think that it’ll be really boring and shite. OK. The deal is that school now isn’t as bad because of hostel, but moving out is an option , well I’ll decide after junior Europeans,. My life is in a standstill mode now, and we all know why.

Training for a big event is always a tough thing to do both mentally and physically , waking up in the wee hours just to drink supplements isn’t nice, doing an hour on the bike makes lactic seem so familiar, going for endless physio sessions and taking 20 mins of my time to do stretching every night is a chore and requires discipline . Wire 2 Wire I dare you.

Okay.. after 17 days in Canada and spending 3 days in hostel, I found out something, I do hardcore ..and softy is not my thing.. tonight we party!.

i bumped into her today, whatever they say the first cut is the deepest
i tell you now it was picture perfect.; fullstop.

Back from Canada and finally life has settled down or at least i think so,
the trip was really good and i definitely learn lots especially 29er sailing
which i currently miss now. The last race the wind was around 20-25 knots,
before we hit the water i whispered good game to ghandi, that was the
wind he wanted and he proved it by leading the race in mid leg before they
capsized and chun hurt his knee. After we sailed out of the club we hoisted
the spin to sail to the course on starboard, everything was good and the boat
was just flying over everything bound on its course we gybed to port and the
boat felt like it was jamming its bow down each wave and yea we nose dived
and the spin got messed up, took us abt 5 mins to sort it out. The last race
started and we rounded mark one top ten which was fuckin' good considering
some of the other teams were 30kg heavier than us, but dammit we nose dived
once more and another three during the race hahas. luckily we finished the race,
the day that i loved most was the day we did 4,2,4 and clearly won the day,
the wind was around 6-12 knots which was perfect and we won almost all the starts
thks to line guru, i didnt wear gloves on that day and came back to shore will blisters.

Ok enough about sailing now, we stayed at st.lawrence college and the rooms
were nice and big enough but the food sucked though like a whole lot.
there were plenty of girls there cos there was also a church camp there,
on the rest day we interacted with them including the sailors from holland,
poland, guatemala, and belgium. There was one bad thing about Canada though
and that is they are very strict when it comes to buying alcohol and clubbing.
well chris the german guy was furious cos he didnt get into the pub and
didnt manage to buy any alcohol. The last day was crazy ghandi and i were
hanging out at the lounge and one by one , couples started heading back to their
rooms haha, i shan't reveal anymore. anw i'll just end off from here and upload

crapped enough alright this week has been the whackest
week in school ever. why?.

1. I went to school without any sleep/rest for 30 hours
first time ever.

2. I reached school around 1050pm ytd the latest ever.

3. I had an aura around me , somehow teachers just didnt scold me
impossible? maybe not.

4. on the byte course today i predicted two shifts correctly, probably
b'cause i was on the power boat so it was easier to see. darn.

5. I saw val's monster kill during race 4 , best start at pin
first to cross in on port tack, started knocking near

lead at mark 2. heh talk about world champs. good one eh!.

Even though i've got a rest day from school tomorrow i'm

woohoo! i'm back, wow. ya right
Germany was fun, totally dude. cause i could eat all the junk food
and not feel bad about it. yes i lost 2kg after 420 nationals.
i probably had like three scoops of ice cream and 2 cans of coke everyday.
the temperature there was 11-15 degrees in the morning ( shivering balls )
not to mention the 8 min run in the morning and giba's weirdo stretching.

29er sailing was cool shit arse , haha the race track's so small it only takes
25-30 mins to complete the course and we get an hour rest in between races.
29er is like a whole new game of sailing i reckon, anw our races were
6,4,4,2,13,28,12,5. as usual stine raped the downwind. I think we were the
lightest male pair as usual , the other crews were like 180 at least, wtf.
